CUSA Hires Dave Woeste

CUSA Crew SC is very pleased to announce the hiring of Dave Woeste as our new Assistant Director of Coaching over the NPL program

Dave Woeste, one of the most admired and respected coaches in Ohio South will be joining the CUSA Crew SC organization at the end of this month to oversee our entry into National Premier League play.  Dave was a member of the 1982 CentervilleHigh School team that made it to the state finals.  He went on to play Division II NCAA soccer at Northern Kentucky University where he was Team Captain, then professional soccer in Louisville.  Coach Woeste has served as the High School Varsity Head Coach at both Mason High School and Bishop Fenwick High School.  He was the Youth Director of Training and Coaching for the Warren County Soccer Club from 2005-2011 and then from 2011-2016 he served as the Co-Director of Soccer Operations at Cincinnati Soccer Alliance  (recently renamed as Alliance Cincinnati) an 800 player club out of Loveland, Ohio.  The last couple of years he has helped the Cincy SC club (host of the EPIC cup) double in size. Coach Woeste earned his USSF National “B” License and USSF National Youth License over fourteen years ago. He has been an OSYSA ODP State Team Staff Coach for many years, as well as serving as a Kentucky ODP coach.  He has coached teams to the Ohio State Cup and Presidents Cup finals, and has run the Dave Woeste Soccer school, which some of you have probably attended, for the past 21 years.

Coach Woeste is very excited to return to the area where he got started, and especially to be joining CUSA Crew SC as we open our new chapter in the National Premier Leagues.  We on the CUSA Staff also feel honored and lucky to have a coach of his caliber and skill join our organization.  Coach Woeste will be on the pitch with CUSA at our tryouts after Memorial Day.  Please welcome him on board the CUSA Crew SC team!
